A SEA OF SCIENCE

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

— Margaret Mead

Long-distance cruisers and most vessels on the open sea have limited space, access to power, and are exposed to extreme temperature changes and humidity. So we had to develop a kit that is space, cost and energy efficient. And most important for citizen science- easy to operate and still obtain useful and comparable data.

By collecting this data, you contribute valuable research which indicate changes in oceans currents, climate conditions and the overall health of Earth.

Our KIT

1

PHASE I

The trial phase equips several transatlantic and Mediterranean sailors with our prototype test kits. Results are collected by partnering universities and scientists who evaluate the interface to create the most effective kit and database

2

PHASE II

With the launch of the ready to use kit, as many vessels as possible are supplied. Our active participation in nautical culture strengthens our net of partners and collaborators. Participants of Sea Labs receive benefits in joining the initiative.

3

PHASE III

The kit is upgraded with more precise tools and cutting-edge innovations that contribute to the scientific research of our oceans
